Globe Facilities Services Ltd. was founded in 2005 by Arnie van Hattem who has always had a strong background in Property Management. Bringing with him a strong relationship with Bentall, he was able to jumpstart Globe Facilities by securing contracts for janitorial, landscaping and supervisory services throughout the lower mainland.

While the company continued to grow, Geoff van Hattem stepped onboard in 2006 as General Manager. Geoff possessed a wealth of experience and leadership in the commercial building maintenance and management field and over the years, was able to sharply broaden the scope of services Globe performs by providing clients not only commercial building maintenance personnel, but also services including pressure washing, painting, snow clearing and tenant improvements.

As Globe’s services expanded, so did the need for an Operations Manager with hands-on maintenance experience and dedication to manage the company’s jobs and staff on a daily basis. Marcel van Hattem, who had previous carpentry and trade management experience, joined the team in 2007 and proved to be an extremely valuable asset to the company.

As you can see, this has been a family-run business from the start, and Globe Facilities is proud to call their dedicated staff an extension of their family. The employees are the front-line of the company and they help keep Globe Facilities Services Ltd a strong leader in the industry.
